The 5-inch, 2.4ghz wireless HD color monitor features a high temp ABS casing and a high-definition LCD screen with a resolution of 960 X 480 pixels. It has a wireless reception range of 100 meters (unobstructed) and an on-screen display (OSD) menu that allows users to adjust each camera's screen position and flip mode. Additionally, distance reference grid lines are visible during reverse mode. The monitor can support up to 2 cameras, which can be displayed in single or split-screen view (2nd camera not included). An adjustable suction cup pedestal mount is included, suitable for mounting on the window or dashboard of a vehicle. The monitor comes with a vehicle power adaptor and operates at a voltage of 8-32 VDC (reverse polarity protected).

The 2.4GHz wireless backup camera features a 1/3" Color CMOS image sensor and a transmit power of 18dBm. It is housed in a waterproof aluminum casing designed to IP69K standards and is able to withstand random 10G vibration. The camera has a phone cell circuit that automatically switches it from daytime to nighttime mode and operates at a voltage of 10-32 VDC.

The prep install kit is designed for easy installation of the MV-BC1 on RVs that are already pre-wired with a cover plate. For RVs with systems made by other manufacturers, the camera and monitor can be adapted to work with existing wiring and configurations.
